Q’STRAINT Sponsors CT’19 and Community Transport of the Year Award

Q’STRAINT was happy to be the headline sponsor of CT’19 last week in Manchester, along with sponsoring the Community Transport Provider of the Year Award at the event. The two-day event offered great opportunities to celebrate colleagues and Community Transport Association (CTA) members from across the sector who share our goal of Making Safety Accessible for all passengers.

THE COMMUNITY TRANSPORT AWARDS

Q’STRAINT Senior Sales Manager U.K., Keri Whaley, was honoured to be on the judging panel for the Community Transport Awards.

“What an incredible day I had reading through the entry forms; reading the sterling examples of what Community Transport providers offer passengers,” said Keri. “Not only that, hearing the voices of the very proud and selfless facilitators was rather emotional at times”.

Q’STRAINT OPEN FORUM DISCUSSION

On day two of CT’19, Michael delivered a workshop titled ‘The Latest Practice in Accessibility’, where he discussed the correct way to secure a wheelchair, duty of care, the range of securement options available on the market, and finished with a wheelchair securement activity. Michael added a touch of Q’STRAINT flair by selecting someone from the audience to help demonstrate wheelchair securement.
