Q'Straint, an established company since 1983 started to manufacture a securement system whose initial design was developed by specialists at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario during the 1970's. The Queens University Engineer's built research with reference to seat belt regulations in Canada and United States. It was discovered that wheelchair restraint system users did not have the identical degree of safety while in transit like users in an automobile. Q'Straint made a dramatic change!
