Total Quality Manager
This position will oversee all aspects of this growing organization’s total quality policies, programs, and initiatives.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Developing, planning and implementing total quality objectives, policies and programs to include application, training, testing and maintaining quality standards, policies and procedures for materials, products, processes, facilities and company’s service
- Formulating and maintaining QA objectives and coordinating with other functional areas to maximize results and minimize costs
- Directing all inspection, testing, and auditing activities to ensure that standards and applicable government regulations are met
- Developing and analyzing statistical data and product specs to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability standards
- Evaluating and correcting customer complaints regarding quality and service
- Conferring with material and component vendors on issues relating to supply quality, capacity to meet orders and quality standards
- Budgetary accountability
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Must have a four-year degree in a related field (preferably quality, mechanical or industrial engineering) and certification in TQM, Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing.
- Essential that applicants for this position be strategic-thinking, a minimum of fifteen years of related quality management (eight of which should have been spent managing a TQ Program) and a background that reflects the ability to implement Quality Management and Lean/Six Sigma Systems.
- A minimum of five years managing foreign suppliers and working in a manufacturing quality environment handling safety-related and regulated mechanical/electrical products is a must.

Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineer
This position is responsible for planning and designing manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, work force utilization and workplace safety.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, design and implement production processes to maximize efficiency of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, work force utilization and workplace safety.
- Assist in design review of existing and new products; develop 3D models and drawings, quality plans for new products, and product drawings and specifications
- Verify and coordinate production assembly instructions and process
- Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements to existing products and processes
- Support purchasing and vendor coordination. Includes component evaluation(s)
- Provides product support activities as directed with all departments as directed (i.e. Customer service, purchasing, Quality.
- Participates in MRB (Material review Boards), provide solution to functional failures and communicate issues to suppliers. This includes analysis of test and field failures to determine root cause of failure and initiate corrective action.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; preferably Manufacturing or Mechanical.
- Must have (10) years experience in a manufacturing industry
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing principles, processes and working with sheet metal;
- Safety-related product experience a plus.
- Possess a minimum of (5) years experience utilizing SolidWorks as well as a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Quality Engineer
This role demands a thoroughly knowledgeable individual who thrives in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Plans and implements quality assurance program including development, application, testing and maintenance of quality standards, specifications, metrics, policies and procedures for products, equipment and processes
- Formulates and maintains quality metrics/objectives and coordinates with other internal groups to maximize quality, reliability, effectiveness, and minimize costs.
- Plans and implements benchmarking against other competitor products and processes.
- Directs all inspection, testing and audit activities to ensure product and process quality standards are met as well as ensure compliance of applicable regulatory requirements
- Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability standards
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Undergraduate degree in related field (preferably engineering; quality, mechanical or industrial)
- Certification in Six Sigma, Lean and/or SPC would be an asset
- 8+ years of related work in quality management field (3+ years managing a Quality Group)
- 3+ years managing foreign suppliers and QA inspection teams
- 5+ years working in a manufacturing quality environment
- 3+ years managing quality of safety-related and regulated mechanical/electrical products
- Implementation of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9000 or equivalent)
